Murchison Jeep JT Gladiator Ultimate Suspension Package

Here it is. The long awaited best of the best – the Jeep JT Gladiator. Jeep fans have been waiting for this truck for around a decade, and now it has finally arrived.

What a stunning vehicle to drive even as a daily driver. No bad road manners like in previous Jeep platforms, the JT dual cab Gladiator is a true luxury / go anywhere / comfortable family touring machine. She’s blessed with the latest tech and luxury too and about time becuase we’re sure a lot of owners are going to go on long touring family holidays with this machine. 

We’ve had to gentle along our suspension tuning program on the JT platform. The JT does exhibit a rather different “feel” to the little sibling the JL Wrangler wagon in that its a much longer wheelbase with different weight balast and proportions. For some reason we’re perplexed as to Jeep’s decision to make such a rediculiously soft set of Fox shocks for the Rubicon spec’d models – it just doesnt sit well – however the Overland model with the different ‘regular’ shocks actually rides alot better out of the showroom floor! Go figure! 

At Murchison Products we’ve created an all round performance tuned package for the JT. It corners harder, doesnt nose dive under heavy braking as much, can carry weight A LOT better, and has a much better amount of wheel travel over stock. This kit will run upto 37’s with ease however we feel that 35’s are absolutley PERFECT with the kit for the JT. We’ve made it so the hardware and spring components are all the same, but you get the choice of some pretty fancy shocks with the JT and JL Kits. 2.5″ “Big Bore” shocks will ride sublimely with this kit. 2.5’s are a fair chunk dearer but this vehicle deserves it. If you’re planning on doing some pretty serious touring / wheeling and want to run bigger tyres then the 2.5″ diamter range is for you. But dont be put off by the regular Bilstein 5100’s that are the std kit – they transform the car!

Shock Selection

Shock absorbers are the a huge part of any suspenion kit, and with a vehicle like the JT Gladiator you want to make sure you’r getting top quality for your money. We’ve got 6 different options.

Bilstien 5100 Series

Due to their larger tires and heightened stance, lifted vehicles place extra demands on a shock absorber‘s damping ability. The Bilstein 5100‘s monotube design and patented digressive valving is uniquely suited to confront these demands. On or off-road, loaded or unloaded, the Bilstein 5100 shock absorber instantly reacts to changing road inputs to maintain a stable, controlled, and comfortable ride.

Bilstein 5160 Remote Res

With an added remote reservoir, the BILSTEIN B8 5160 provides ultimate vehicle control on even the harshest terrain. Zinc plating and increased oil capacity dissipate more heat assuring long term durability.

Bilstein B8 8100 Series

Bypass shock absorbers offer the most compliant ride in all conditions and provide maximum bottom out control when the road gets rough. Utilizing an adjustable external bypass shock is the easiest and most effective way to tune your suspension for ultimate performance.

Fox 2.0 Performance Series – Monotube Shocks

For avid trail users, Performance 2.0 is your best go-to suspension, providing a comfortable ride both on- and off-road compared to standard shocks.
The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates the nitrogen charge from the high-performance suspension fluid, eliminating any chance of mixing that causes a standard shock to become mushy during serious off-road conditions.

Fox 2.5 Performance Elite Series Externally Adjustable

For off-roaders wanting to go harder, the new Performance Elite 2.5 come with external compression adjusters that allow you to quickly adapt to terrain and vehicle loads with the turn of a knob.
Race-developed high-flow pistons and vehicle-specific valving improve both off-road performance and on-road balance, which means you’ll enjoy your black-top journey to the dirt.

Sway Bar Disconects

Choose from the exteneded fixed links, or upgrade to the JKS Adjustable Quicker Disconnects.

JKS Quicker Disconnects are also the easiest to operate, due in part to tapered stainless steel mounting posts and floating, spherical polyurethane bushings. With the lengths adjusted properly for the vehicle, you can even operate the Quicker Disconnects when parked on uneven surfaces.

Removing the convenient click-pins allow the disconnects to slide easily from their mounting posts for safe stowage inside the vehicle, or to be secured to the vehicle with the swaybar, depending on the application.
Manufactured from premium heavy-gauge steel, JKS Quicker Disconnects are robotically MIG welded for superior quality standards. Zinc plating and a durable powdercoat finish provide unsurpassed protection from corrosion and the elements.

Bump Stop Extentions

Choose from 1″, 2″ or 3″. A rough guide is:

1″ – 33″ Tyres
2″ – 25″ Tyres
3″ – 37″ Tyres
