To be honest its a bit of a joke, for a company who prides themselves on making the best HD truck lineup in the world we were pretty surprised to see the new DT Ram platform with Fibre reinforced plastic upper control arms. I get the fact that they were throwing everything at the engineering on the new DT chassis to create the lightest weight, smoothest riding truck platform in the market but this has been at the sacrifice of the term “HEAVY DUTY”.
The MP Modded Ironman Forged upper A Arm provides more caster/camber for better wheel alignment specs on 2″and 3″lifts. These are a must for 2″and above.
We add our own grease nipple to the upper balljoint for a more lubricated and long lasting service life as they don’t have them standard. This is highly advised.
They also have a nice compliant rubber bush to give a quiet squeak free service life.
These arms are also ADR compliant which is brilliant, so should you want to get your Ram GVM upgraded at some point these will come in effect.
