The Grenadiers stock damper is overly stiff and hangs down WAY too low for our liking. We’ve seen countless damper failures from rock strikes which bends the damper and renders your steering useless. When this happens the only way to fix it on the side of the road is to remove the damper completely, this is dangerous as the vehicle will break out with major death wobbles without a damper – believe me we’ve tested this !! Its scary – reason being is the Grenadiers front diff has next to no caster built into it so its always on the verge of break out.
Installing another type of “trick” damper like Fox ect doest fix this. You’ll still hit the damper and be stuck with the same outcome, so we’ve come up with a solution that fixes both issues.
