We’ve taken a while to nut out the best sounding and best performing exhaust for the Ram 1500 Hemi, and here it is. This fits both the Laramie and Express 1500’s, but the Express will need the twin exhaust rear bumper. (Black Pack Express model 1500’s come with this as standard.)
For al l trayback 1500s, this is an in house fitment only (sorry we can’t send this one out) – all made on the vehicle. We open up the back of the factory cats to a true bore 3″ and continue that mandrel bent piping around the back of the transfer case to eliminate the poorly designed cross over pipe that would otherwise go underneath your AUTO and preheat your auto fluid! This also makes room for the HD Skid plates we offer to maximise ground clearance – Importantly we also give enough space around the transfercase to allow fitment of the LRA tank
We then merge the pipes into a single 3.5″ down to the rear using a 3.5″ Stainless muffler, then V band out either direction to the rear bumper and add 2 thicker stainless tips, or we can do a “Roll Down” 45deg dump pipe looking tip which really suits the traybacks…… you can have these tips in a Stainless Brushed or Black Chrome.
The exhaust sound is perfect, never intrusive or droning like we’ve heard so many times in customer’s cars that have come in and had a cheap muffler or pipework change. This system looks mint, ticks all the boxes and gains in the real world around 12-15Hp (without even tuning) Pair this up with our K&N Intake, our 85mm BBK Throttle Body and some High-Flow Murchison Ceramic Headers and it’s one sweet upgrade!
