The Next Gen Ranger has had a complete overhaul and is a much better and more versatile platform than its predecessors.
Bilstein Australia in conjunction with Bilstein USA Head Office have engineered and come up with a brilliant front strut / rear shock combo with a Bilstein coil for the front.
You can bolt this in for standard height or raised application as the grooves on the front strut body allow for upto 50mm of lift. The coil rate is only a fraction heavier than stock on purpose to not upset ride quality. The High Pressure MonoTube Bilstein design offers a far more proven valving combination compared to stock cheap OE shocks. While I will take my hat off to Ford for engineering a brilliant “out of the box” ride quality – it can be improved upon!
There is an optional rear Remote Res 5160 for the Next Gen as well – this is for the heavier builds, constant towing crowd, or just for that awesome look we all know and love “)
You can match this shock kit to just about any rear leaf spring combo on the market, be it stock, raised or ex HD raised for constant loads.
