The 8mm Strut top plate offers approx 10mm lift height at the center of wheel to guard edge. It provides lift without bringing you closer to the shocks maximum travel top out length hence the referred term often used as “Top out plates”.
They are useful for those times you just want to trim up the height a little bit after adding that winch or bar. Obviously using a proper full Bilstein strut is the way to go when needing more lift and travel but these plates come in handy for those times you just want a slight increase up front.
